Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an eyebrow appointment generally take?

Depending on the style of brow you pick, it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. This includes time to do paperwork, numbing, mapping, etc.

How long does an eyeliner appointment generally take?

Eyeliner typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

How long does a lip blushing appointment generally take?

Lip blushing appointments take anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half.

Will I get to see the shape before you start?

Eyebrow mapping is done so you can see the desired shape before I start. There is no stencil, so everyone gets brows that are custom measured to their face. I use your natural brow structure along with your preferences to create the desired shape.

I do not draw on lash enhancement eyeliner before tattooing it, but I have examples of the different types of eyeliner available to show you.

If you would like winged eyeliner, I will draw it on beforehand.

Lip blushing is mapped according to your natural lip shape. I cannot tattoo outside of your lip tissue or over line your lips.

How long will it last?

Any cosmetic procedure can last for years if taken care of properly. It also depends on your skin type. Brows and Lip Blushing can last anywhere from 1-3 years or even longer. Eyeliner typically lasts up to 5 years.

When do I need to come back for a touch-up?

After your initial session, you will come back for a perfecting session which can be anywhere from 8-16 weeks later.

It is recommended to come back for a Color Boost after about a year or two depending on how the brows/eyeliner/lips have faded.

Is there anything I need to do to prep for the appointment?

YES. The prep is very important to how your cosmetic procedure will take and how long it will last. After booking an appointment, I will send you an email with detailed pre-instructions.

Is there anything I need to do after the appointment?

Like the pre-instructions, Aftercare is extremely important in retaining pigment to make your cosmetic tattoo last as long as possible. It is also very important to ensure your safety so there is no risk of infection. We will go over all aftercare instructions at your appointment, and I will send you home with an aftercare sheet & products.

Does it hurt?

Any cosmetic procedure may be uncomfortable, but it should not be painful. I use a topical numbing cream before starting, and another during the procedure to make it as painless as possible.

Can I get more than one service done at a time?

Absolutely! As long as you are comfortable and committed to following the aftercare instructions, we can do more than one service in a session.
